Waitlist mode — quotes and orders are not open yet
Terms of Service
Last updated: 22 August 2026
These terms govern your use of makerlane.co.uk. MakerLane is currently in waitlist mode: we are not accepting orders, taking payment, or producing parts yet.
Current status of the service
MakerLane is a pre-launch marketplace. Everything on the site today is informational. Joining the waitlist or the newsletter does not create an order, a contract of sale, a price guarantee, or any obligation on either side. Prices shown in our catalogue and guides are indicative UK market ranges, not offers.
Using the site
- You must be 18 or over to submit a form on MakerLane.
- Give accurate information — we rely on it to contact you when quoting opens.
- Do not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it at scale, or submit unlawful, infringing or abusive content.
Maker applications
Applying to join as a maker is an expression of interest. We review each application and may accept or decline it at our discretion. If accepted, a published profile may appear in our makers directory; you confirm you have the right to share any business details, capabilities and imagery you submit, and you agree we may display them. You can ask us to unpublish your profile at any time.
Intellectual property
The MakerLane name, site design, written guides and imagery are ours or licensed to us. You keep all rights in any design files, briefs or portfolio content you send us; you grant us a limited licence to store and review that content so we can operate the service. Do not upload designs you do not have the right to reproduce.
Liability
The site is provided "as is". We do not warrant that the content, price ranges or maker capabilities described are error-free or suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Changes
We will publish updated terms before we begin accepting orders and payments; those terms will cover ordering, production, delivery and cancellation in full.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. Questions? hello@makerlane.co.uk.
